How I Got Here
Working as an SEO Strategist and Team Lead at one of Nepal’s top SEO agencies has been a journey full of challenges and growth. The fast-moving nature of SEO kept things exciting — and difficult.
It all started at Cloudfactory, where I worked in data entry and discovered the value of teamwork and professional communication. While the environment was great, I felt something was missing.
At the same time, I was running a Facebook page called Mad Tempers, writing punchy posts and marketing content just for fun. That’s when I realized — marketing wasn’t just something I was doing, it was something I loved.
Although I was a Science student at Khwopa Higher Secondary School, Bhaktapur, I pursued marketing during my final semester of Bsc. CSIT at Samriddhi College, Lokanthali. I joined Elance Digital Media as an SEO intern and never looked back.
After my internship, I joined Crystal Infosys Pvt. Ltd. and later made my way to Orka Socials, Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur — one of the best SEO agencies in Nepal — where I’ve grown from SEO Specialist to Team Lead to SEO Project Manager. I also now run SEO training classes within Orka Socials.
Experience Timeline
Managing client projects and weekly deliverables. Prioritizing workflow, minimizing roadblocks, and monitoring leads and conversions for optimized results.
Mentoring juniors and interns, preparing custom SEO strategies aligned to business goals, and measuring KPIs to evaluate performance.
Gained experience on multinational and multilingual sites across Shopify, BigCommerce, and SquareSpace.
Gained hands-on experience working with international websites and broadening technical SEO knowledge.
First exposure to SEO — optimized local sites and learned the fundamentals of on-page and off-page SEO.
Built strong teamwork, communication, and professional work ethic in a large, collaborative team environment.
